To end Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix on a high note, Epic Games held its Fortnite Remix: The Finale concert on November 30 at 2:00 p.m. ET in the game, with virtual doors opening just 40 minutes earlier, at 1:20 p.m. ET. The concert featured high-profile artists like Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, Eminem, and Juice WRLD. Prior to the concert, Epic Games confirmed that Snoop Dogg would debut his new single "Another Part Of Me (feat. Sting)," alongside Juice WRLD's new song "Empty Out Your Pockets" from his third posthumous album "The Party Never Ends." This is the final album from Juice WRLD, and it appears that many millions of Fortnite fans showed up to pay tribute to the rapper and celebrate the imminent conclusion of Chapter 2 Remix.

After the Remix: the Finale concert ended, Fortnite players in the Reddit community discovered that the game reached 14,343,880 concurrent players, setting a new record for total concurrent players, all-time peak, and 24-hour peak. On Twitter/X, Epic Games also confirmed that more than three million people streamed the concert concurrently, which sets another all-time record for Fortnite concerts. The concert made Fortnite one of the most actively played games of the entire year before the launch of Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1: Hunters on December 1 as well.

Fortnite Sets New Concurrent Player Record with the Remix: The Finale Concert

Fortnite reached 14,343,880 concurrent players to set a new record. New records were set for Fortnite's all-time peak and 24-hour peak.

To celebrate the incredible milestone, Epic Games will be hosting an encore of the Remix: The Finale concert on November 30 at 8:00 p.m. ET, with doors opening at 7:20 p.m. ET in Fortnite. This will be the last opportunity fans have to watch the concert, since Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix will end that same day at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Fortnite has the chance to retain many of its players from the recent surge in Chapter 6 Season 1, which is themed after samurai and Japanese franchises like Godzilla. Players can expect a new Battle Pass, samurai mask items, giant bosses, Slurp creatures and pets, and so much more. Additionally, Fortnite leaks suggest that King Kong will make its debut in the popular battle royale game during Chapter 6, and a collaboration with the popular Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series is reportedly on the way as well.
